HBO Max: 'Harry Potter' trailer breaks records
- The first trailer for "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" surpassed 277 million organic views in 48 hours, making it the most-watched trailer in HBO and Max history.
- The series, a full reimagining of J.K. Rowling's novels, stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, John Lithgow as Dumbledore and Paapa Essiedu as Snape.
- Francesca Gardiner ("Succession") is showrunner. Premieres Christmas 2026.
Prime Video: 'Vought Rising' eyes multi-season run
- Jensen Ackles confirmed "The Boys" prequel series "Vought Rising," set in the 1950s, is designed as a multi-season show.
- Ackles reprises the role of Soldier Boy, this time in his prime rather than as a man out of time. Paul Grellong serves as showrunner.
- "The Boys" fifth and final season premieres April 8.

Disney+/Hulu: 'Malcolm in the Middle' revival opens reboot door
- The four-part limited series "Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair" premieres April 10 with most of the original cast returning.
- The creative team is already floating a potential full reboot centered on Malcolm's daughter Leah, played by newcomer Keeley Karsten.
- Original creator Linwood Boomer called Karsten "an undiscovered star."
Apple TV: Two pickups announced
- Apple landed "Liminal," a sci-fi thriller directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Vanessa Kirby and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The film is based on the AWA graphic novel "Telepaths."
- "Women in Blue" ("Las Azules"), Apple's Spanish-language crime drama, returns for a second season on Aug. 12, with episodes rolling out weekly through Sept. 30.
